Pence to Urge Seniors to File for Tax Stimulus Rebates

U.S. Congressman Mike Pence has issued an announcement reminding seniors and citizens on limited incomes to file proper tax forms. The IRS strongly recommends that seniors file no later than April 15, 2008; however, the final deadline for filing is October 15, 2008.

For more information and help with how to receive a tax rebate check, please visit Congressman Mike Pence's Tax Rebate Help Center at: http://mikepence.house.gov/ConstituentServices/rebate.htm. At a special town hall meeting in Anderson on Saturday, Pence will emphasize the importance of filing in order to receive the tax rebate in a timely manner.

"Part of my responsibilities as Representative of Indiana's Sixth Congressional District is to simplify my constituents' interactions with the federal government. I urge all seniors and citizens on limited income to be sure to contact our office for information on filing for the upcoming tax rebate," Pence said.
